Would have been at least £2500 anywhere else, so you really saved £500, and you could have gone to a cowboy who’d have done far more damage than good - I reckon you should treat yourself for all the savings you made!Popped into Bognor Motors for a service and ended up spending £2k on service, breaks, engine mount, alternator and bumper refitting.
Very true. Was just hoping to pay for a service and have some of my budget left for carpet lining etc.Would have been at least £2500 anywhere else, so you really saved £500, and you could have gone to a cowboy who’d have done far more damage than good - I reckon you should treat yourself for all the savings you made!

Looks good but the easiest way to change the rear springs is to jack up both sides at the same time and just undo the single bolt at the bottom of each shock into the hub. The whole rear arm then swings down.Fitted my @CRS Performance uprated B14 rear springs. Pretty straight forward on the drive. Disconnected the ARB to make life easier. That was the hardest part.
Seems to drive better on a quick spin. Ride height is 15mm higher than before though and not sure I cba to alter it now it's all back together. It did sit lower at the back anyway.

Agreed, if I have to adjust again I'd probably do it that way. Although I do have to disconnect the LED level sensor which is connected to the ARB bracket anyway.Looks good but the easiest way to change the rear springs is to jack up both sides at the same time and just undo the single bolt at the bottom of each shock into the hub.
