What Have You Done To Your Van Today?

I cleared a P060600 fault which was causing a yellow engine light on dash. It came about not long after the Apple CarPlay was playing up, which was shortly after daughters phone with a dodgy Lighting connection port disconnected itself from the USB. All working fine now.

I’ll have to do it all again as at some stage I want the black Lower dash trim and door card upgrade
It's damn sticky stuff isn't it. Hopefully makes a difference too.
When you get all your lower dash panels do those too. I have. Similar to the California.
Ironically my panel van had the factory deadening on the original door cards and glove box. They don't tend to get that now. Even the california door cards I've fitted didn't have anything on them!

After waking up to a flat tyre, I realised how hard it is to fit the spare. Not only was the spare very rusty, but it didnt fit. I have the plastic collars for my aftermarket alloys, taking the OEM 65mm spigot to 72.5mm.
So I bought a secondhand alloy and bored out the wheel just enough for it to fit. Now I don't need to remove the plastic collar by the side of the motorway with HGVs hammering past me.

Put a floor over kombi 1+1+1 floor brackets. used 12mm kitchen worktop which 100% waterproof but is hardest material that I have ever tried to machine and took me a lot longer that expected. I did get a bargain with the worktop at £200 for 2x 3meter lengths, it is in three pieces as wanted it to be totally removable to be able to put all the seats back in and out easily for when camping. I will be keeping one seat in most of the time but have a piece to to put in to complete the floor. I used laminate underlay to take out the step lips which is about 5mm thick then routered the back out where the brackets are so it would site flat really pleased with the result but a lot of effort and will certainly appreciate walking on a flat floor.

There's some weight in that worktop.

Yes it’s not light but have no kitchen units and carry most of the camping kit in a trailer that was one of the comprises but should ware well
You could've gone the whole hog and gone for granite.
