Finally got round to sorting the pop top leak where the solar cables come in through the roof. Turns out water was getting in under the actual gland on the roof. When I tried to clean round the edge to apply some sealant the gland just popped off the roof. What a pita cleaning the old sealant off before reattaching (properly?) Then it was time to swap the 20’s for the Devonports ready for Saturday’s little trip to Spain. Got them out of the cellar and the balance weights pulled off two of the wheels, so duly loaded them into the van and took them all to be balanced. Then changed the wheels over at home. So nearly a whole day spent doing 2 simple tasks.
Still not even washed it yet.
Washed it. Been a while and lots of road salt to get off. Found more scratches but decided when getting the van not to worry (unlike previous cars) otherwise where is the fun - use it and enjoy in a few days will stop admiring it out of the window and will be filthy again
