The V5 shows my van's "mass in service" as 2213 kg, but I'm not quite sure how that relates to "unladen weight".
My van's a LWB - probably accounts for the extra weight.I would have to have another look as it’s a while ago now but when I worked it out for mine (6.1 t32 Kombi) it came in under the maximum weight - I’ve got a feeling that I haven’t got ‘mass in service’ on my log book so did it from the vw brochure. I’ll have another look when I get a minute.
Enjoy it being clean for about 10 miles...
He’s done a good job! If it were embarrassing every weekend you’d be onto a winner. Not me but my youngest gave the bus a clean as he said it was an embarrassment (cheeky git)View attachment 275973
Yes I know it won't stay clean for 5 minutes, but in my opinion, there is no better colour than black when cleaned and waxed.Enjoy it being clean for about 10 miles...damn black vans!!

At least he is getting out the house and doing something productive, not like most kids these days that want to sit on the backside all day.No because he's got me round his little finger and gets what he wants anyway.![]()
I know that feeling except mine won’t wash the vanNo because he's got me round his little finger and gets what he wants anyway.![]()
As well as low sun angle the impact of shading can be quite high. If you have rails this can make low sun angles even more of an impact. On the Solar point. Suprised today how despite blazing clear sunshine (lovely day in north wales) two 100w panels only pulled 50-75w of power. Even disconnect each in turn proving that indeed each panel pulling half of that number. I know never likely to get 200w, but imagined more than 40%
