Wheel spacers and spigot question

Now you know the offset you can pump it into “will they fit” my cantera were 8 inch offset 43 they were fine with a 5mm shim. Im pretty sure that anything as wide as the 8.5/9 fronts will need a 35 offset on the front. 43 is spot on for the rear. You may need a spacer on the front but not much. Only way it to try it without and see what rubs. You won’t hit the strut
Then there is tyres...

Ok
So I am no genius when it comes to wheels and tyres. On the will it fit sit do I have put the original wheels and tyres info in to be able to compare my current wheels and tyres?
I’ve just ordered the judds in 19 :think smile bounce: 8.5 and 9.5
why 9.5 on the rear?

Ok
Do I am no genius V when it comes to wheels V and tyres

why 9.5 on the rear?
Best thing you can do is whack what you have on with no spacer and just go round the block and see what rubs. You won’t run anything serious under there on a short journey. Plus you have air to get you out of trouble.

Just dropping down to 19s now. Getting rid of the 20s. Like 20s but with out loads of chopping I can’t run it low as I like.

How much lower do you want it, your van is pretty much on the floor now.

Ok will be doing this at the weekend.
Better order some standard wheel bolts in case I have to revert back to current set up.

I do to although when it’s parked I want the top of the allow to tuck.

So my front and rears are 20x9 offset 43 according to Wolfrace. I am concerned that if I remove the spacers and replace them with standard spigots the inner wheel will hit the strutsetc.

Unless the bagged struts are somehow different, a 20” 9J at ET43 won’t hit the strut. 9J ET45 for example is pretty common, and it’s what I have on coilovers with no rubbage at all, and just a whisker closer to the strut than ET43

Cheers @Village do you have any spacers fitted on your van? I currently have 10mm spacers which I keen to get rid off.
The struts I have are ABP Bilstein struts although bagged I don’t think there is a huge difference between these and standard coilovers.

Nope no spacers. And I suspect you’re right that your struts are no different

Bags on struts and going for a tuck! You’re on air, so a quick blow if you get stuck!
