Wheel spacers and spigot question

You know you love it @JOG!
Then again, if you mess up that wheel change at the weekend, you might end up in the gutter with your new “hedge finders”!

(That’s a continental term for bad wheels/tyres before you crack any jokes about bushes!)

Spent a few hours removing the spacers and spigots today, what an absolute PITA. See images of the gold spigot that was seized on. Took an hour to get it off.
Anyway all done, bolts cut to the right size, biceps like Arnold.

Time for a well earned beer and admire my efforts

Looks like a proper ball ache! Glad you got it sorted.. main question is are you happy now?

what spigot are you using now?

Very pleased but, yes there is a but, I can only go so low on the front as the inner wheel arch plastic guards get in the way.
The rears could go lower but it would look odd with the rear lower than the front.

Spigot wise, it’s the one you mentioned in the thread. Perfect fit.

So pleased I have done it.

Looks like you had a fun afternoon! Don’t know how you did it....it’s been peeing rain all afternoon here!

I can see where your front is getting stopped. If you want to go lower then that top plastic has to go along with that screw lug bent back up. I wouldn’t bother if your happy looks good as it is.

The exact opposite here. Sunshine and clear skies all day, the minute I finished it rained. Phew!
