Where Have You Been In Your Van Today?

Went as far as a full tank of diesel would take me.... Left Kent @3pm Sat and drove for 539miles non stop and reached Fort William just before midnight, where I stopped with 15miles left in tank. Now my 2 weeks touring North of the Boarder can start... And it's bloody raining!

Some friends of ours have sent photos to us this week from their trip in their van to the Outer Hebrides. Looks stunning up there. We intend to do a drive through Scotland this autumn hopefully. No doubt will have to contend with rain but hopefully no midges!

This time of the year there’s 24 hour daylight so you there’s more time to count sheep and puffins! My partner has just had a week on Shetland, there are plenty of EHU points around the main island and camping ‘wild’ is normal. Very friendly and helpful locals apparently.

We have been to Have Blue Dolphin site near Filey this weekend......
Last time I was there police were in attendance most nights, armed police were called on the last night. We had to stop a chap from strangling his Mrs in the main bar and then attacking his kid.

Hope it was less eventful for you !

We had no bother to be fair campsite was full but Statics not so busy.
Facilities quiet but the toilet blocks have no limits on how many go in and very few wore face masks.
We wore ours and tried to ensure facilities not chocker block.

Nowhere. We were supposed to have been heading down to Easewell Farm in Mortehoe (N. Devon) for a few days but something came up this morning to delay it. Hopefully, we will be escaping tomorrow morning now. Anybody else down that way?
