Where Have You Been In Your Van Today?

I have been trying to get over to the Outer Hebrides for the last couple of years. Finally got here and it's not disappointed. Watched a pod of dolphins follow the ferry over and then this sunset on our first evening....

Amazing location and video. One question though; have you cleaned your van while you been away? My van gets dirtier than that just sitting on the drive!

Just back from two nights in Cheddar at the CAMC site, three nights at Harrow Wood in the New Forest then two nights at Norden Farm, corfe Castle.
Apologies to all of the other T6 drivers who waved but did not get a wave from me in reply - I was either looking at my satnave, dodging potholes or forgetting I was in my T6!
Home for a few days to mow the lawn plus other odd jobs then off to Harlech then Chirk

No, it had a fresh wax before I left and this was day 3 since leaving home, plenty of time to get mucky.

Why could the Romans build straight roads using only line of sight when we can't manage with lasers, GPS satellite imaging etc etc?

Their skills didn't rub off with IT 1960's infrastructure, cable car failures, motorway bridges collapsing .....

I’m guessing the Roman slaves that weren’t very good at building straight roads were swiftly dispatched. Tends to focus the mind. Their descendants all got jobs with Devon Highways.
