Where Have You Been In Your Van Today?

We have spent the last 2 nights at Stanmore Hall touring site near Bridgnorth in Shropshire and spent yesterday at the Black Country Living Museum which we enjoyed.

The campsite was very quiet, mainly caravans and motor homes only saw one other camper, and he was in a transit. It was a decent site. It had a lake and a couple of resident peacocks.

And my heater worked!

Been to a local fishing lake to rescue a barn owl dangling upside from a tree caught up in fishing line.
Had an encounter with a very angry farmer, and a lot of wading chest deep but managed to get it and take it to the local rescue.
So nice to have the van to get into with the diesel heater and be able to get dried and changed.B019E221-990A-434B-A6C1-0F1516A9AA97.jpegOnly got a pic once back at the rescue as I left my coat and phone on the bank of the lake while I went wading.

@Bigsidavies. As a dedicated birder, I'll call that an extremely good days work. Thank you and very well done indeed.
Thanks. I love owls and it looked so sad dangling from the tree all tied up in fishing line. Very lucky that it’s going to be ok. A good morning’s work.
It’s got a few damaged feathers and maybe some broken ribs, but going to be fine.
