Thanks. I love owls and it looked so sad dangling from the tree all tied up in fishing line. Very lucky that it’s going to be ok. A good morning’s work.
It’s got a few damaged feathers and maybe some broken ribs, but going to be fine.

Cromford, then stopped at Minninglow for a van lunch.

Parked in a deep puddle in order to get the view, no intention of getting out

It was Bottoms Dam in Holmfirth. It’s a fishing lake. Obviously not as deep as it looks luckily.

Brook Dyeing Mill Pond as was. Fished it years ago, caught a few trout outta there. Being a coarse angler I put them back though!

Just dropped mine off at the bodyshop for repair work as a result of the incident on New Years Eve:

To be fair to my insurers Ageas (through JustKampers) they approved all the repair work on 4 January but I preferred to wait for a slot with neighbour of mine who owns a bodyshop rather than use the insurance company 'approved' repairer'. I trust my man but don't know the approved repairer and can't help thinking that they got the work just because they were the lowest bidder for the area contract and cheapest is often not the best! Touch wood, it should be back fixed and shiny for next weekend.

Decided to take the day off work and head to the coast…. Anderby Creek in Lincolnshire for some fresh air and a lovely walk!

Sandsend for a walk along the beach then Staithes for a spot of lunch.Then on to Saltburn for a walk and then hitting the bars which look surprisingly smart.
