Where Have You Been In Your Van Today?

Quite a variety of VW’s vans on there with you. Something for everyone by the look of it!
Yep, can't shift for the buggers out here.

6.1s, 6, 5.1s, an Irish 5, German and Dutch 4s, a nice synchro, splitties and bays paired up.

It's enough to make you want to convert a Transit

Isn't that as far north as you can go in the Hebrides? We’ve been as far south as you can go, we'll have to meet in the middle :mexican wave:
Yes, it’s as far north you can go. It would be good to meet up but we’re heading back to Skye today - ferries permitting. Will be near Portree for two days.

It's something else out here isn't it. Is it your first time or have you been before?

First time on Lewis - stunning place. First visit for you?
Day trip several years ago with the kids, the Uists have been on my list since then. Our first fortnight trip since we got the van, a week just wouldn't do it justice!

We’ll be there next month. Looks fabulous
We’ve been a few times and really like it, a bit different and really nice restaurant etc. this is the only time it’s been really windy, putting up the awning last night was fun but looks like it will die down later…hopefully.

We left the Loire on Monday and are now at Merry-Sur-Yonne. It’s been busier than usual the last couple of days as it was a Public Holiday in France yesterday. A couple more days here and then we are off to Irancy and then Chalons-en-Champagne to get our wine allowance before our return via the Tunnel on 6th June. That will make it a 6 week trip which is the longest we have spent away in the van.5214FF82-3CC6-479A-9361-C7EA296DFD12.jpeg

Lucky you having such a long trip. Very jealous.

The view from tonight's site, an RSPB car park, £5 a night. Scoped it out last night and it was empty, turned up this evening and there's a T5 and a T4 already here!

The peak on the right is Beinn Mhor, the highest point in the Uists. Its a bugger of a climb, bog and Heather before you start upward, but a great walk and fantastic views.

Now that sound good business sense by the RSPB. Not like some places that are charging extortionate prices for a car park.
