Just back from a weekend in the Peak District.

Plenty of walking along the Monsal Trail and around Chatsworth Gardens and a few other walks.

Loved the Monsal Trail last year..unfortunately didn't make it to Chatsworth though..

sharpness docks Gloucestershire only £5 for a evening and access to the dockers club for a pint and some food

Chatsworth is great for a walk ….. so much open space to avoid people.

I’ll be biking the Mondale Trail in a few weeks. Then the Tissington Trail a couple of days afterwards

I think we are looking at heading back up to the Peak District in August so maybe looking at tackling part of the Tiddington Trail ourselves.
Being a railway man it makes a change to walk an old railway line and not worry about trains!

But yes, stunning location with views of a beautiful beach, the island of Berneray, and the mountains of Harris.
