Where Have You Been In Your Van Today?

Forgot to get a pic of the van, but work gave us a bonus ‘mental health’ day off today, so took a lovely drive down the Fosse Way to the Cotswolds with the missus and my sister and bro-in-law (kids were in school - bonus) - we all work in the same place, so all had the same day off. 10k circular hike with the dogs, and a very nice pub lunch half way around. Got back to the van 2 mins before the heavens opened. Great day out.

Now in Seville having camped last night in Merida, a town originally founded by the Romans in 25 BC which coincidentally was the last time VW produced a vehicle without emission issues. Had a visit to see the remains of an amphitheatre and Roman theatre which are in good nick for their age. Campsite was empty but clean with good showers and handy for the town- now have a P20EE fault to take the shine off the trip but will ignore for now….

At Brow Farm campsite near the Long Mynd in Shropshire for one night.

One of our favourite sites - quiet, well spread out, relaxed rules, great walking and cycling from the site, good pub 15 mins walk away, free WiFi and only 45 mins from home.

Downsides - very few hookups, basic facilities and no phone reception.

We love it.

Pete

Campsite in Dos Hermanos, near Seville, 30 minute bus ride in to Seville town centre, tour of the Real Alcazar and nearby cathedral. Heading to Cadiz next
Brings back memories of when I stayed there. Cadiz is nice and coast a long to Tarifa. One of my fave things is drive from coast to Ronda, Ronda nice place to explore.
