Where Have You Been In Your Van Today?

Normally too busy these days but it was almost empty last night. Really nice, like it was when we took the kids up there when they were young
I don’t have kids so we avoid most places during school holidays, and we try to go early if it’s a nice sunny day!

Today I am north of the border again. Not for a nice reason. Aunt is ill in hospital and not looking good. So dash up the motorway. Closed at Penrith so off at j38 and across Appleby etc on to the A66 and back on to the M6. That was an interesting route with the van!! And into the hospital. Checked in to my site for the weekend and visit again later. But lovely site and views.

Dragged ourselves away from the beaches of Setúbal and moved up to Obidos, but still 23 degrees. One of the most stunning little places we’ve been to so far.
Their thing is cherry liquer and all the little shops sell it in shots in a chocolate cup for €1. Can get tipsy while shopping.
On a little aire which is £5 right next to the ancient aqueduct.IMG_6429.jpeg

We bought a bottle and a load of cups. Will pay premium for more! ;)

@Bigsidavies. I know it's never exactly cheap but do you know how much that tuna was by any chance? I'm interested as I bought a piece from the fish counter in a supermarket yesterday and the price worked out to an eye watering £40 per Kg.
