Where Have You Been In Your Van Today?

@Bigsidavies. Thanks for that - it's always good to have recommendations. As to transport to Lisbon, I didn't read any reviews too closely but I'm sure that I saw one of them referring to trains from Setubal every 20 minutes. You mentioned the hard standing looking really hard - unless it's hard as in concrete, I've got half a dozen 12" rebar pegs and a lump hammer that should take care of it!

@Drive Wayne will lend you his SDS drill and some resin anchors if you want a really good job.

We parked up at Whetton Mill to walk up to Thors Cave, then we drove, via some very narrow lanes, to Dovedale NT car park for a further walk. We had lunch in the car park before learning from the NT rangers on site that everywhere around that area was under a foot of water and we’d be better going back down the road to Ilam Park NT to park up and have a wander around. A good day out.

Had our first "proper" 2 nights away near Malvern over the weekend. It was a bit windy and wet but the van was cosy - we loved it. Lovely walk up to the Worcestershire Beacon on the Saturday (where I pretty much flew the dog like a kite in the wind) followed by a pub lunch. After two nights of pretty torrential rain (that was not forecast!), the van had to be dragged out by tractor .
