View through a grubby window.just got to Toledo and having a little rest before hitting the wine and tapas in the old town.
Parked in the unofficial aire (car park lol) next to the river.
Had a 5 hour drive down from Logrono where we stayed yesterday so I’ve earned some nice vino.

We love a trip to Saltburn. The road by the station has a few real ale bars and a pub that has a wood fired pizza place inside.
Great for a night out in the van.

Don't look very warm in Toledo .
I hope france has warmed up since we last came through ,we'll be back that way at the weekend .

Toledo was a balmy 12 today. Started getting cold about 2100 sat outside a bar in the square.
Just got back to the van so nice and toastie now.
France was gorgeous driving down Sunday/Monday. Not a cloud in the sky.

Were you parked up on the prom? I saw an Acapulco blue van on the prom, think it had a steering lock slightly in veiw. Not many other vans around and no waves on the 500 mile return journey.

@Ricardo T. That was us - about 50M down the prom from the beach entrance. We would usually have parked on the beach but my Mrs was driving and I learnt years ago that I can't tell her where to go or what to do so I just kept quiet and we wound parking with the muggles! As an aside, it was the first time that the van has been off the drive since last December so you got lucky to see a Lesser Spotted T6!

To a very quiet site where we were the only van on site
Only 1 toilet / shower but the water is lovely and hot and has a heated towel rail too .....even has a loo seat . (Lecky and WiFi €13.44 per night) .

The drive back to Kent from Poole yesterday was abysmal!! (although running on about 4 hours kip and after a day on the water didnt help either)
