Nipped up to mansfield to return my incorrectly ordered roof bars to vanstyle, and swapped them for some side bars. Then apent the next 2 hours cleaning the bugs off the front.

Thanks mate I'm very happy with the bus and got to try out the 4motion going up very steep wet grass banks were we pitched the tent ,flew up no probs, just not use to the 31mpg that I'm averaging.
But found out on the way home overtook couple of Sunday drivers didn't know there was a kick down on accelerator shout off like a scolded cat think the BMW driver behind me was shocked aswel

Kick down and sport mode on dsg does make it fly, mpg gets better, I started off getting 30pmg now getting mid to high 30's no problem.

That's good to hear the mpg gets better once worn in think I've clocked up 650 miles so far.
yes i dropped it into sport mode and kicked it down went from 35-80 before I looked at the clock , before then thought it was abit sluggish overtaking

Our last 180 took until 8k miles to loosen up.
Once they do, performance and mpg improves.
