Sitting in bar at hotel on Scarborough esplanade enjoying a glass of fruit cider waiting for our Dominoes pizzas to arrive.
Nice drive down from Ayrshire. The OBC is displaying 39.6mpg on our 150 Kombi. No pics as it was dark by the time we got here and van is badly in need of a wash!

Spent last night at Rutland water and mega bike ride and tested out the newly fitted night heater, was very toasty to say the least and woke up to this view

That's good to hear the mpg gets better once worn in think I've clocked up 650 miles so far.
yes i dropped it into sport mode and kicked it down went from 35-80 before I looked at the clock , before then thought it was abit sluggish overtaking

I think it's cos it's a big vehicle and sat up high it doesn't feel fast but as you say watching the speedo whiz round it's quite quick. I've sat on the tail of more than one boy racer quite unable to lose me!

Windermere...........tw*tted a pheasant on the way up........jesus Christ...........it hit the windscreen square on at about 50 ish! My glasses fell off as I ducked........I thought it was coming through! Saw it bounce down the road behind me. Doesn't appear to have done any damage.......what a bloody bang though!

Should have stopped and picked it up free pheasant! Would have made a lovely roast just glad it didn't damage the van.

Isn't there a law that if you hit a game bird you cannot stop and pick it up as its classed as poaching but the next vehicle can, how mad is that

Ours hasn't moved for over a week.
Exeter tomorrow to try and get the awning rattle and intermittent sliding door latch failure sorted. I hope.

You need to hang them for a week or so before prepping them.

That law is just bonckers lol as though you go poaching with you car for a weapon.

Try that with a deer - chances are you will be stopping regardless
