Where Have You Been In Your Van Today?

Got home early so took van out to fill up with diesel, met a chap and his lad with a very nice T4, going to a local meet on Sunday not far from Wakefield first one since I sold my T25!

Went out onto a moor close to us to look at the Milky Way! Was a perfect night for it, beautifully clear with no moon and not a breath of wind. I still get a thrill seeing the satellites silently glide past.
Took a small gas stove with us and had hot chocolate topped with squirty cream!

I walked to the front door, opened it and looked at the sky..... Whilst eating a Milky Way......
Does this count ? o_O

Drove down to Cornwall in ours yesterday. Took 8hrs due to the a30 roadworks but other than that not too bad. Dsg kept moving between 5-7th depending on incline but towing 1800kg of caravan it can be forgiven. Although partly miss the 100 litre tank of the touareg , the 70 litres of the t6 meant I had to top up at the services.

I feel your pain because we got stuck in that too

Work this morning and back. Gave her a clean down yesterday but didn't get chance to polish and wax as it was windy and little things out the trees kept re appearing all over! Wax next weekend I think. Did drive the father in law to a supermarket I hate (B&Ms!). Horrid place, horrid car park so waited in the van whilst he went in. Saw a family try to get a matteress into a little car and nearly offered to take it home for them until I saw how vile the woman was behaving towards the staff that had carried it out for her. She acted like it was their fault she had a small car!

Up north visiting my dad on his canal boat for the night, just got the kids to sleep..... heaters just kicked in....... blissful night ahead in the van :):)
