Where Have You Been In Your Van Today?

Weather on our last couple of days in the New Forest hasn't been great. Managed to get a short trip out to the Rhinefield Ornamental Drive for a walk in between showers.
Must remember to not clean he van before coming here...

These are the Giant Sequoias, meant to be the 2 largest trees in the new forest. Absolute monsters.

These 2 love the forest and the Mud Buddy is worth every penny

Heading home tomorrow, weather is meant be really nice

Merc World and the car/aircraft museum are worth a visit while you are there (if you are staying a while!).
Funnily enough, Mrs CAB and I were discussing that. We've been once, and been driven round the existing banking in an old car, but she has no recollection, and I can't remember when it was, as we didn't have the kids with us, but it wouldn't have been before we had them.

If only I had had a Transporter at the time, I'd have put photos on an Internet forum as a record!

Quick trip to B&Q in Chorley today, took the van as it hasn't been started up for a month and needed a run. Very pleased that it started up on the first kick and ran fine. Only issue is that when I got back home I found that a long thin trim strip that lives between the cab area headlining and the rest of the van roof liner had dropped to the floor. It has little black plastic pegs that fit into tiny sockets in the roof but doesn't want to fit back in and stay up. Looks like I will have to apply some glue.

I'd avoid anything too permanent like glue if I was you.

As someone who had precisely the same experience, I went for these:- Pardon our interruption...

Nothing exciting. Had to nip over to MK and as the van hasn't moved in three weeks decided to use that.
