Bought a 199 dsg 6.1 been nothing but a pain. Since I've
Had it. Booked it in local vw came back with variable manifold blocked needs changing. As we all know they charge. So found an local garage got the variable manifold changed it now even worse than before. Garage that changed it says has too be loom damage some where. Too busy to look at it.
SO thought I'd see if anyone has had any similar issues. Current
Fault codes are.
P22D300, P22D200, P22D500, P201500, P201700, p00af00
P256300.

Hi ALL Just thought id update everyone on van fault codes . I manged to get my van fault codes sorted today turns out after fitting a new variable intake manifold you also need to replace the old intake manifold flap solenoid part no ( 1K0906283 A ) WITH a new pressure convertor part no ( 1K0 906 627 H ) . fitted this and and cured all the error codes . van now drives like it should with no issues. Hope this info helps others with similar issues after a intake manifold replacement.
