Hi all. I own a T6.1 and previously owned a T5 for a decade or so. Both vans converted into campers.
From a bit of a look round, I am seriously impressed by the breadth or experience and depth of knowledge on this site. Great to see.

Still very much a working progress but this is how we are looking so far, seems to work well on the few race and bike park weekends I have been on.

I’ve used forums for various cars over the years but looking for somewhere more knowledgeable and focused for technical info etc.
I’m a massive weekend warrior when it comes to detailing so the van is very often very clean some pics attached (testing to see if they upload successfully)

Nothing wrong with that, I'm the same and I'd bet that every really good detailer started the same. Your van looks great anyway!

Guessing those are after and before pics respectively and that you haven't converted a very nice camper to a work PV.
Hi all, I've had my T6 camper for a couple of months and have been amazed at the amount of useful info on this forum. I've mostly had 90s Jap cars so going to a modern VW has been a bit of a shock (which I bought instead of my dream RX7, I must be mad, or getting old).
The plan is to use it as a day van for going places with the dogs, visit family at extreme ends of the UK (Cornwall and Orkney), and to travel a bit further afield in Europe. And crucially, it is a SWB so I can use it for work which is irregularly visiting datacentres in the UK/Europe while being able to remote work in the back.
I've had to tweak a few bits to make it more "me" but very happy with it so far.
But it has essentially become a rather expensive kennel
