    Steering Wheel Lock

I've gone for a Stoplock for the same reasons as VanDanMan. It's easy to use and not too bulky when not in use. Also it can be switched to other cars/ vans with no worries about the size of the steering wheel. If the T6 is behind locked gates it goes on to the Skoda Citigo.............my wife...

    Aftermarket Security

We use a steering wheel DiskLok, and a pedal lock when the vehicle is in a public place. Both take seconds to fit. When it is at the storage yard or on our drive for any length of time, then we use a wheel clamp which is very visible. Plenty of other more technical solutions used by owners here...

    Have I been scammed?

Maybe speak to an auto locksmith and see what they say? I would also agree a physical lock such as Disklok (your local Halfords might have one in stock) or ClutchClaw from NK group is a good idea - if you can stand the hassle of fitting them. I found this article on Car key programming that...

Beefing Up Your Vans Security - How I Done It -

...not be pretty but can stop an easy and quick break in, Armaplate are probably best for these, the bolt thru type not just the stick on type. Diskloks and pedal locks i believe are also a great deterrent, along with the Ghost sticker that can go in the window when you get one fitted. Anything...

    Is It Gone Forever!?

I didn't even know you could still buy Diskloks. Does that mean you cannot move your van now?

    Campervan/motorhome Storage?

...facility (which has a high security rating). It costs us about £550 a year, and there is often a waiting list. When the van is there we also fit a wheel clamp, disklok and pedal clamp, just like we tend to do if it is on the drive when we are working on it. Message me if you want more info...

I have a disklok and think sometimes old skool is the solution with these b@#tards. Old skool treatment from the courts when caught would be nice too!

Glad you finally got it fitted, shame Ghost appeared not to be completely honest with you. I think i will get a pedal and disklok to begin with and order ghost myself. Then hope thats sufficient otherwise maybe a tracker down the road at some point.

    New camper :)

I think it is above 30mph for more than 3 minutes that disables service mode meaning that when the van next comes to a stop they won’t be able to restart it. I’ve had Ghost since day 1 and had no problems with using service mode (though, as it’s infrequent, I have to read up every time I use...

    Is It Gone Forever!?

Thankfully I have a spare key. Still available, sales are rocketing due to keyless entry thefts - obviously acts as a visual deterrant - my thinking is it's a hassle a thief wont want so moves along...

    Steering Wheel Lock

Thanks @Berto84 which model do you use ... the Pro or Pro Elite ? Thanks @BiTurbo do you use the Disklok yourself ? You're right, I have been struggling with the decision between the two. I have read many reviews where even the Disklok steering wheel protector does not stop the damage it...

    Is It Gone Forever!?

Hi, Ok, so you're a resourceful lot on here... I was putting the Disklok on to my van tonight, I dropped the key and its gone into the void at the bottom of the windscreen - as its at the very bottom I can't reach it or even get close with tweezers etc - you can't fit your hands down...
