I can take a couple of photos and post, but if you go onto the Vanstyle website, choose VW, then choose T6, then go to external styling ootion and work through the selection of stock until you get to 'Wind Deflectors' they do some excellent photos. The hole you have to drill is a tiny 1mm diam and it's into the plastic on the forward edge of the cab window ledge. My advice if you buy from Euro Car Parts is to buy on line but opt for click and collect if you can. When you collect, check and make sure it is the correct part for your vehicle. THEN while at the counter - open the box and infront of the sales person and check that they are 'undamaged' before you leave the sales counter.

These work really well. I shuddered at the prospect of drilling a hole in the door trim but it’s tiny. The deflectors are now rock solid and do their job. Look good too. Would recommend. Will send pics if I remember

Has anyone bought a set of Climair wind deflectors for their T6 recently?

I've just bought a set from Euro Car Parts, on their website it states 'Quick and easy to install with no clips or screws'.

Althought the instructions indicate fitting the bracket as I've seen on other threads, as well as the Climair instalation video on their website.

No clips/brackets were in the box, is this a new design that doesn't require drilling into the door trim, or are the fixings missing and the website is incorrect?

I got some about 3 months ago (they're great BTW) and they definitely had the small screw with them. I did without using the screws for a couple of weeks, but they work better with them fitted and it's only a very tiny hole (1mm drill bit!) in the plastic. Unless they have changed the design I suspect you'll need the two screws, plates and small pieces of rubber that go with them.

Thanks for the quick reply!

I thought that was the case, looks as thought the plates/rubber are missing from the box

I've been considering these but not totally keen on making holes in the van (yet) do you think the bracket would hold with something like 3M tape or RTV silicone (which I've mounted amber lights with before) or is the clearance really tight?

I would have thought so!

Euro Car Parts haven't given me that option though as there aren't any brackets at all

I fitted a pair of the Climair WD's to my T6.1 last week. In my humble opinion you do need to drill the 1mm hole and use the clips and screws as (normally) provided. They are superb, easy to fit and do the job nicely with no wind noise in transit. Before i drilled the 1mm drill hole and fixed to finish the job, I held the deflector in place and tried it to see it worked ok with no binding. I suggest it wise if you do the same. See also the fitting video....

I have been so impressed by them I ordered another set for the SZ5 Jimny, to replace a pair of 'Heko' deflectors I have never been happy with.

I’ve had both Heko and Climair…..definitely go for the Climair and the screw. (I too was fretting about drilling into my van!)

I have had Heko from Amazon and left hand fell of while I was driving on dual carriageway , luckily no one was behind. Was pitch dark so could not bother to return. Have a go with climair.

No problems so far with Climair, I would say that you do need the screw, when you push the bracket in as shown in the video, there is a fair bit of tension on it.

I got mine from @Chilli Jam Vans, prompt delivery, and all brackets and rubbers present and correct

Well at the current price I've ordered a set. Will have a ponder if I stick to my "keep it stock to the end of the warranty" self imposed rule when I have them in my hands and can see for myself

I got mine direct from Climair a couple of weeks ago. Euro Car Parts were out of stock. Paid a lot more (£67.00) but I was in a hurry.
Came with brackets, rubbers and screws. The bag in which this came also had instructions showing fitting method which is the same as the Climair video.
If I were you I would phone Climair and ask is they have changed the design, and when.
If they have not, you may have either the wrong part or a non OEM knockoff.

Just one question do you have fold up mirrors if so do they clash or no problem? Thanks
