I also disable mine when camping as it's kind of rude to flood light the campsite every time you unlock.

I can disable them by switching the headlight switch from Auto to off.

That's what I meant by disabling them, thanks for clarifying. I don't carry my laptop and vcds cable on holiday ;-)

Mine come on automatically when I take the key out or unlock it. Don't have to do anything. You should also have a scan of mine from Busfest @Pauly
Mines a Highline with H7's. Not sure if that makes a difference.

If that's the case we should be able to find the difference between codings on similar vehicles

It would be nice to know if it is a simple coding change!
I imagine those who do like the coming home light function would appreciate it happening automatically rather than tweaking the stalk everytime!

Does anyone know if this kit will allow the coming home lights feature if its combined with use of a VCDS or Carista.

Tested mine yestready. I have to pull the headlight flash to activate but the lights don’t actually come on until I open the door.

My one is the same. Quick flash and all comes on once key out and driver door open

after reading this thread, has anyone come up with a way of not flashing the stalk, also how do you activate the fogs to come on when unlocking instead and the main lights please ??

Got mine yesterday great piece of kit.

I have change basically every option on mine except sunroof option as don't have one. all works great. and first time. list below is a few options I have added

1, doors auto lock when drive off and open when remove key from ignition.
2 push button once on remote only opens drivers door. push twice to unlock all other doors.
3, sweeping dials
4, one click on indicator arm now flashes 5 times instead of 3.
5, rear break lights and hazard light flash on emergency breaking

Not yet i need to have a play with it as its not a coding option going to have a search in the adaptions but need a vehicle that has it as standard ?

I have a list of all the adaption channel values up to 100 for my central electrics module if that's any help. Mine needs a flash to work.

Same as mine mate, i need a van that has it by default then a comparable van that doesnt, if all else fails i will compare mine to @DaveyB when we are at bala in may

Not gonna be at Bala, but you should already have scan of my van.
