Forgot to say, I used the M6 toll on the way there and (by accident) on the way back. On the way there I was charged as class 4 (~£10) and I even pressed the assist button to check it was correct, the guy apologised and said it was automatic due to the height of the vehicle.

But on the way back class 2 :mexican wave:
It’s saving me money already:thumbsup:

It may be due to a slightly iffy calibration on the sensor or it may be that the 2 cm made all the difference. Anyone with a really lowered van paying class 4? (Mine has a poptop so is a good few cm higher in places too)
Going north then 2 from the right always seems to go as a class 2. Going south 3rd from the left also does. Its done on the height of the vehicle at the front axle.

Hello .... looking into these dampers for my t30 ... already the vw eibach 30mm springs . Would the KONI dampers help with the ride quality with these springs ? Also the van sits a bit higher at the back . Would the H&R(40mm) springs be more level ? Do you have any side pics of the H&R/ KONI set up . Any help much appreciated :)

How does the steering feel now ?
I’m just on HR 40mm drop. Fancy the Koni sports dampers . Steering so light with no feel, even at mway speeds maybe they are like that anyway. Not weighty like the car e class estate.

Ride , handling , comfort and road noise all improved drastically with the KONI dampers , fits and works well with all the H&R range of springs .

Would these dampers work ok and improve the ride quality on my vw/eibach 30mm springs ? Or best to go with the H&R? Thanks

This is my T30 fully converted camper, with H&R springs and Koni Sport coilovers, also had the H&R ARB’s front and back fitted by @CRS Performance, Wheels are 8.5J 20” ET35 TSW Sebring with 255/40/20 101 XL tyres. The ride has completely changed and the van now handles more like a car, just sticks to the road with no body roll. It’s also slightly quieter in the cab.

Can I ask what the spec of the alloys are ? They look ideal - thanks !

They are ATS Evolution. 19x9 et48.
Slightly out on the Speedo.
Van reads 60mph and gps reads 61mph.
The front alloy sits 10mm inboard of the front arch, as does the rear, but with a 10mm spacer.

there are two types of koni shocks and dampers which ones are the best, the Koni Active non adjustable Damping or the special Koni adjustable damping, whats the pros cons to them
