My front seat bases are occupied the same as yours and my heater outlet comes up through the floor in the corner by the B pillar and seat baseI have a safe under the passenger seat, and am short on room under the driver’s with leisure battery, dc dc charger, 240v RCDs and charger etc.
I know this is where most people bring their hot air out, but has anyone gone with any other options? I am mounting it underslung, is there any reason it can’t be forward of the spare wheel? There seems to be a bit of space there, if I could manage to bring the outlet out from under the bed/seat?
I’ve read up on the B pillar OEM method, but that cut puts me off. Just after a few other ideas or perhaps anything I’ve not thought of?
cheers all
This came up the other day, and the suggestion of an outlet in the sliding door step was raised.. food for thought?

@James1982 what option did you go for in the end ? I am also thinking the sliding doorstep would be best for my setup if its possible to route the ducting underneath the van.Yeah I see. More investigation required
Cheers
Thanks for that. I also have Travelvolts kit but mounted my battery left to right so I’ll have a look at altering my setup. CheersI have the extreme battery supplied by travelvolts mounted front to back. A ctek charger and small fuse box with the heater duct under the drivers seat. There is plenty of room to fit all that under there.
James, that’s great thanks.Yeah I had mine the same, moved it front to back and kept it on the right side of the seat. Ctek in top left and a small fuse box on top of the battery at the back so it's easily accessible. This leaves plenty of room for the heater duct. Excuse the tape measure I'm doing some measuring up for my fridge pod.
