Hello from Scotland

Nice bus that! Love the colour. What lights are they? I have the standard Startline and they are dreadful. Was considering the THQ black ones on mine.
Just worked out you are talking about the rear lights. Sorry I thought you meant the headlights.
The rears are also THQ LEDs the smoked versions.
They also work great with the dark paint

Not at all, was talking about both to be fair. THQ only seem to have the V1’s for sale at the moment, I’ll be tying in with them soon. Might do it in the summer.

hi all i am retired and was getting very bored so i bought a 2019 t6 highline and have converted it into a camper,i found your forum as i have a glow plug fault code P0673 which states a problem with no 3 glow plug,my van has only done 42k and starts and runs fine,i only give it a run about once a week so i do not know if this would cause the error,i am am a fair mechanic but reading some of the posts about broken glow plugs is slightly putting me off replacing the glow plugs,i have a diagnostic tool that can remove the error code but it comes back after a few days.some encouragement would be useful guys .

Sorry, haven’t had the chance to play with my glow plugs yet so I’m no help there.
I can say welcome to the forum though.

Welcome @Hubo. Let's hope your questions wont be "Why? Oh why? Oh why?" ;)

Not an uncommon fault on these vans. Glow 3 is the one with the sensor so an expensive glow plug which also requires a special tool to remove and about an hours labour to replace as you need to whip off the intercooler to get at it. I've had 2 replaced in the last 4 years so it may be worth getting it done at VW as you get 2 years parts warranty just in case it goes again which you wont get if done by an indie or DIY.

Hello from a unusually sunny NE Scotland, just purchased a 2018 T6 T32 Kombi as a base van to slowly convert to a camper, it was quite difficult to find a honest unmolested van to start and with a decent mileage. no doubt there will be some daft and obvious questions asked along the way. Anyway Hello...

Welcome to the forum from a misty, damp corner of Yorkshire.

No questions are daft or obvious if you don't know the answer - just ask away and someone will be along to help, if only by pointing you in the direction of an existing discussion on the topic.

Any pics of your van? We like van pics here. :)

Nice - any plans?
Yeah going for the swamper look, first off will be looking to get AC fitted, in my quest to get an honest clean van forgot about the AC. Then look to insulating and carpet the rear, pop top and convert to camper.

Doh! Retro fit of AC certainly possible, but not easy/cheap. Use the search function - pretty certain it's been discussed previously. Hopefully you'll find a 'how to' guide.

Have you decided on an internal layout? U-shaped seating is an increasingly popular alternative to the standard side-kitchen.

Wanting kitchen etc. down the side and seats that can slide right forward to get MTB in, when using the van away space for the bike to fit sideways across the van behind the seats, will need to remove wheels but it is all compromise.

Yes, there's always a compromise somewhere - it's only a small van when all said and done.

I'll look forward to reading about your progress on a build thread. ;)
