Hi all,

Just wanted to reach out and say hello to everyone here. I am new as interested in getting a T6 transporter and converting it into a camper. My current lease deal is up next summer so got 12 months to prepare as want to make this my daily driver too.
 
4motion is a rare beast but not important unless you do muddy campsites.
LWB is only 300mm ish bigger than a SWB.
Maybe go to a main dealer just to look around vans with a tape measure to see what suits you!

Hello all - Been hovering around for a while and thought time to join the group -We are two oldies of 76 and 69 and enjoy our VW Coast model which bought in March and already clocked up nearly 5K miles - all in Scotland. But looking at a trip or two to France next April. We are based near Inverness and on the North Coast 500.
 
Hi, I’ve just joined. I got a T6 LWB earlier this year and am loving it.
I bought it mainly for fishing as I’m salmon fishing daft and have a business build custom fishing rods.
I’ve ran a T5 van for over a decade so wanted something the same size, durability and fuel economy so I can take it down farm tracks etc to reach fishing beats.
I love bling and gadgets and am firmly well down the rabbit hole of accessories you can buy for your camper.
I’m looking forward to getting ideas and advice from other vw mad owners.
