A bit off topic but we have a ten year old lab - lovely little (she's working stock so small) but last May she developed a nasty lump in her mouth - had it cut out and tested - it was aggressive cancer. We were given a few options and went for a "cancer vaccine" which is fairly new to medicine.Labrador, Mountain and road bike (slowly on both) and a Harley Davidson.

That is such good news! I have a four year old Springerdor (springer lab cross) and love her so much, can't beleive what you must have gone through!A bit off topic but we have a ten year old lab - lovely little (she's working stock so small) but last May she developed a nasty lump in her mouth - had it cut out and tested - it was aggressive cancer. We were given a few options and went for a "cancer vaccine" which is fairly new to medicine.
After driving to Wellington (2 hours each way) every two weeks and shelling out a few grand (some covered by insurance but not all) we got the end of the treatment and were told it hadn't worked at all - the other two options were really grim, so we decided to let it just takes its course expecting a couple of months at the most. A few months later she still seemed fine so we had her checked over - no sign of a lump at all and almost 18 months later, apart from going greyer (like me), she's absolutely fine. So basically we had a bit of a mini miracle!
