Knock had gone and the next morning the cold start was away. Result.

Good to know. Is that the VW injector cleaner?

Had the same problem with my van and 160,000 km put a bottle of injector cleaner Ian mechanics recommendation and it was solved part no form VW is G001790M3 I put in full bottle with 40 litres of fuel van hasn’t missed a Beat since I put it in

65 plate T6 102bhp BM 100k miles. Awkward to drive at bottom end. Lacking low to mid power, and had to rev it for reasonable drivability. Thought this was 'par for the course.'

It was great at 50-60 mph on A roads.

Had a 'gentle' remap, which improved things greatly. Still noticed a lumpy idle, and an improved mid range, but still lacking.

Read this thread, and decided to buy a bottle of additive. Used Reddex gold diesel addictive. Wow!

This van is now 'drivable' at low to mid throttle. It's much more relaxed and comfortable.

I was sceptical, but will be putting additive in on a regular basis.

I have a 2017 TDI 84 blue motion cxga. On cold start up starts perfect but about 2000 rpm bit jerky sometimes depends on throttle position. Then sometimes before warmed up about 1500 rpm in 5th a sudden jerk then normal. Very underpowered engine tho. No maps
