Got myself a nice gloss black grill from ebay, think its oem thats been painted but was a bargin so that can go on soon. Just need the lower grills in gloss now to finish the front end off

They were from Vanstlye, not bad for the money: £35 inc postage. I had to trim a little bit off the tab on the front one.

Bought some solow’s for the van! Not sure if im going to fit them or not though as don’t know if i will be able to cope with how low it actually is on campsites and things

Saw them for a good price on here, they were local and i thought why not. I can always sell them on if i decide not to fit them.

Not really done much recently but had a bit of spare time today so I've started mocking up some bits and then cutting up the steel, want the toilet to be able to pulled out from inside the unit.



And then onto the frame:

Still cutting up bits of steel, used a few pics to help me but im just making it up as i go along haha I've got my side braces and upright supports done.

Bought a few shiny bits for the van as not able to get any welding done.

I just love how clever people are on this site my camper was built for me and any work I go to a garage so hats off to you all.Although I'm quite good at cleaning and polishing.

Thanks, i would have loved someone to build it for me but the style we wanted the guy quoted some crazy number. That said it would be done by now if i had just paid it haha

I know what you mean. I couldn’t afford to pay someone to fit everything I wanted.

Well today has been a good day, started at lunch and with a few breaks inbetween we finished about 5pm. Got a bit if tidying up to do before i paint the frame and bolt in the rear section braces

Bit of tidying up the welds today and then primed one side of it.
