OEM Webasto Auxiliary Heater To Parking Heater Upgrade

I just wondering, do you know if the overhead panel has anythin similar? a 12V output in one of its pins when the webasto is on...?
I don't know. With T6 the overhead panel connects by 4 wires: CANbus (2 wires) and power (2 wires).
However, the connector is a 16-pin connector....

Yes, in fact, i have already bought the 16 pin conector. I was just wondering if anyone had tested the rest of the pins.

The next step is install the overhead panel.. and my question is : Will the Overhead panel work not having the remote control and receiver install? i have seen the 2 Can wires are in pins 2 and 3 of the 17 plug connector.

Also, i have seen there is two OEM references 7E5919037J and 7E5919037F.

i dont know where you @mmi explained one is for newer vehicules and the other for older.... cant find it right now.

I can buy here in Madrid a 7E5919037F Y20 and i would like to fit it in my Novemeber 2016 T6. Do you think will it fit?

Thanks!!!

I don't know -
the "F" was used in T5.1 with a different heater - 7E0 815 071 C
E.g. here

Then in T6 only scan I have is for Secondary Air Heater (Address 0B)
E.g. here

Interesting... the guy who sell this overhead panel says it is from a T6. I have contacted with some ebay shops about this module and even giving my VIN number they are not sure if it will work as my van does not have oem air heater. I guess i will need to look for the G version.
Yes, it does. You can have either remote or overhead panel, or both.
Well, if you have the remote but don't have the overhead panel then you'll get the fault mentioned earlier.

Yes, that is exactly what happens :D

Thanks

i am afraid i havent tried it... sorry.... it is a big investment and for the moment i am in the "testing phase" of the solution (i want the webasto to heat water)

It took me a while before i could pair the remote with the receiver.

1. Take the battery off the remote
2. Put it again
3. Unplug the receiver at least 5 seconds
4. Plug it again. Wait 2 Seconds and no more of 6 seconds and press OFF button during exactly 2 seconds.
5. Red light should blick for about two secs and then goes off. If the remote blink 4 times, you need to repeat the steps above until it blinks contantly during 2 seconds which will mean it is been paired.

You do not need to have the receiver connected to anything other than battery plus and minus to pair the remote.

You can try this if the transmitter has been without a battery for a long time.

Restarting the hand-held transmitter
To extend the life of the battery, we recommend removing the battery from
the hand-held transmitter if it is not to be used for a longer period of time.
1 Insert battery in the battery compartment of the
hand-held transmitter.
2 Press the OFF push button six times for 2 seconds
at approx. 2 second intervals.
3 Wait for approx. 2 minutes.
This may wake your remote if it has gone to sleep through non usage and no battery.

You should see the receiver in the scan as a subsystem for address 18 when connected - see below.

I'm afraid they will not work together. However, I haven't tried the exact combination but did verify another oval type (as 5Q0...is) and the square (3Q0...) not being compatible here:

Today i finaly find a shop with some roof modules and tried all off them :)
As all we know module with suffix g works flawless

Module with suffix f conmects the vehicle but can not start webasto nor ventilation
(Maybe it can be flashed to g firmware because able to get system time)

Even i tried a very old module and suprisingly it cranks heater and ventilation but no mode or set functionality ( can not get the system time)
