Off to Belgium for the Grand Prix - any hints or tips much appreciated!

Would really be interested in doing this trip next year. What ticket level would anyone recommend without having to sell a kidney to go...
Unless you have your heart set on a grandstand seat, get a general admission ticket. Loads of places to choose from around the track.

I paid about €200 per bronze (general admission) ticket which worked really well for us. We were there for three full days and used Friday and Saturday to find which bronze area we wanted to set up in on Sunday morning to get a good view of the main race.

That sounds good, just need to work out the dates work for us.

Next question, where is best to camp? Looking at yellow zone temporary campsite which is supposed to be family friendly. Will be wife and I and our 8 year old. Reviews seem mixed but is there any other option?

I’m happy to recommend gptents for their location and setup. I think the price was fair too. We could (if you look really closely in the van pic) see the circuit (Stavelot) from our camping pitch and we’re really close to Rivage and the entrances that side. We used those to get in every day and walk to where we wanted to set up.

I’ve added a map of the circuit with gold and silver grandstands plus all the bronze general admission areas.
