Just wandering is there any difference in quality between the different ones available online? Can anybody offer any recommendations? After a warm white.
Hi, I've read loads of good info on this site regarding fitting ceiling downlights, which looks straightforward. But does anybody have any recommendations for the lights themselves? I'm after Cool White, ideally with frosted glass/cover, and something which is not too harsh.
I'm planning on installing 4 (2 per roof panel), with each pair having a 3-way switch (on/off/on) which replicates the existing push/switch lights (on timed/off/on courtesy switch).
Also I don't really want to splice into the existing light wiring looms, rather ideally use simple plug n play connectors, so can I get these from anywhere? Thank you in advance.
Before I accidentally cover myself in carpet and glue while lining the van, I thought I'd install some decent LED lights into the roof panels of our Kombi.
These would replace the existing interior lights (though not in the same locations) and I'd run them from the same switched supply. So, nothing fancy.
Does anyone have any tips for decent lights to use? Or. any obvious pitfalls in this plan?
I have a t6.1 and I would like to add four more led lights to the ceiling in the back.
Is it possible to take power from the existing rear led lights ? It looks like they have two wires to them now ( I think the older models had 3?)
Just so the 2 new led lights would come on and go off with the original rear lights.
If it’s possible which one is + and which one is -?
LED rear interior lights - How i done it. so a few have asked, so i though i would just list it here as a post so i could refer back to it in the future. The lights were purchased from The T6F shop over here > We were planning to do the carpeting at around the same time, but for the purpose...
Hi all I have bought and am in process of fitting a van furniture oak roof that came with 6 mini hafele 12v led lights.
They have small plugs on the end of the wires leading to them that look like they plug into a connector block / driver of some kind that van furniture don’t supply with them..has anyone used a 12v driver that can be wired to leisure battery using the existing plugs ?
Seems a shame to have to cut them off to wire them in ?
I have hafele lights in my kitchen. The plug for the driver is to enable them to run from 240v. I’m guessing that when being used on 12v the plugs aren’t needed. I’m sure someone will confirm this.
Hi thanks for the reply I have found and bought after much googling a hafele 6 to 1 distribution block for the 6 lights to plug into…this only has 1 wire output and isn’t a transformer. I will cut the plug off the 1 output wire to switch and power from that ! Hopefully be a neater solution !
