Just had a look at the Fogstar website.
They list a 230AH seat base battery similar to Roamer‘s offering but with slightly different dimensions:
[My quoted measurements are for actual install aligned to vehicle orientation]
Fogstar 275(w) x 315(l) x 187,5(h) vs Roamer 290(w) x 330(l) x 180(h): assuming electrical connections are orientated towards the front as per others installs.
Less money and slightly smaller, except in height.
Is there any reason why these seatbase batteries couldn‘t be fitted sideways to give more space at the front?
Currently I have a factory 2nd battery fitted that is 315(w) x 175(l) x 190(h) under a factory single swivel.
I then also saw that Fogstar list a 300AH battery that is effectively 345(w) x 240(l) x 190(h) if mounted on its side.
(Not that much bigger than a side mounted Roamer 160S at 338(w) x 215(l) x 185(h) ).
I measured the gap between the seat rails as 350mm and the seatbase opening is slightly wider.
Am I missing something obvious, as it looks to me that the 300AH might actually fit better than the seatbase battery offerings, taking account of all the factory connections etc at the front of the seat (passenger side) and also give more capacity?

Just checked with Fogstar before purchasing a 300AH and the obvious, that I was missing, is they don’t include the handles in their measurements.

The 300AH is therefore 380mm, rather than 345mm, making it a total non starter, unfortunately, under a single seat.

This is something I’ve been looking at lately, as my AGM has died.

Working off a seatbase size of 315mm length (without seatbase plastic its 385mm) width 290mm (tapers to 227mm at the top front section) and height of 190mm, here’s some Lithium Battery sizes I’ve noted -
