Show Us Your Old Pride And Joy Cars From Yesteryears

My brother had a red 1.6 and I bought a grey 1.9 from an oil company, ex-company car. I recall paying about 3.3k in a sealed bid process.

My oldest daughter had a 104 Diesel as her first car, the engine was ok as ran and was economical.
Everything else was a pile of shite, I would rather walk everywhere than work on another Peugeot again. Who would design a sunroof so it leaks and then routes the rain straight into the BCM???

Lol... you defo wouldn’t want to walk after a little spin in the 205. If u are near by you can have a drive if u are not too put off Peugeot’s...

God, I would love a 205 GTI again. I had one for about six weeks back in the early 90's. Gun metal grey 1.6, loved it but it was written off by a truck doing a U-turn in a supermarket car park ! I couldn't find another one so went back to the 205 XS which was just as much fun. I went freelance about a year after that and had to get an estate car, and its been estates and vans ever since.

I went to the main dealer and asked how water would get in the BCM? I didn’t need to ask a mechanic, the sales team knew about the problem and took approx 300 quid off me for the BCM and said ‘we hope the roof doesn’t keep leaking but it’s a very common problem’

I just want to point out that I was referring to a Peugeot and not the other water sponge on the market that we own.

Nothing to the van just running round getting bits and jobs to get the red rocket back on the road after mothballing it for other things for several years
OT - Is that a Robin Hood?
