First of all, 2Q0 radars suppose to be a significant improvement over 5Q0 ones
but honestly so far I can't see any major difference. Both systems simply work as designed.
I guess this extra info below, might be useful for any T6.1 owner or anyone considering 2Q0 radar system retrofit.
Physical installation is very simple,
I would say plug&play.
The wiring diagram for the T6.1 is below.

I have actually followed the Audi A1 wiring diagram, but it is the same as the T6.1.
The only difference is a suppression filter, but again, I haven't used one.
If you don't want to make the wiring from the scratch, then you can purchase any side assist wiring loom online (Kufatec, etc.) and modify it accordingly.

After completing installation and connecting all wiring, my system showed one error (invalid data set - as expected).
There are few sources of data sets but the easiest and the handiest is VCP database(server).
They have 38 variants for 2Q0 of which 15 are for VW. Unfortunately, the one supposedly for Tiguan AD1 didn't work for me.
If you are guessing then yes, you are right, the upload count number 15 was the correct one in my case
.
All remaining 14 were either giving me shite loads of false detections or some statistic faults.
Below is a kind of reference for the allocation of the data set to the vehicle model.

These data sets are not being uploaded via "data set upload" procedure like a typical ZDC files.
Instead, the upload is done through the flasher, exactly the same way as the firmware flash files
Among these data sets I have tried the one for T6.1, and weirdly I got a fault regarding mirror LEDs.
I can only suspect that T6.1 mirror LEDs are different (different wattage and/or voltage compared to the ones I have used).
Once the correct data set was uploaded, my system completed dynamic calibration within 11km and the happiness began
