If it’s a VW dealer, it should be on the order formI asked the dealer for the order number and they haven’t given me that yet either. Typical situation of wanting to be your best mate, sign the paperwork and then you get treated like an Ex and made to feel like a stalker

I ordered Kombi 199 4 motion in September. Looks like I might have to wait until July if that is anything to go by. 3rd party order so no order number to chase. The wait continues
This is worrying, as I have ordered the 199PS T32 from a dealer and I am being told April, and it was ordered in Jan. Something tells me I might be disappointed.

There has been a delay at VW’s end around 199‘s, largely related to new emissions standards. Many of these had been delayed whilst they got the new emissions data which for some reason only arrived last week. So there now seems to be a queue of waiting 199 orders (which will become 204) which couldn’t be progressed until they had this.
Take a look at the vwcalifirniaclub chat on this topic which has a lot more info and has been quite active in the last couple of days as updates filter through. Looks like VW are currently realigning build weeks to now build these is an order that broadly reflects original order date. And if you are a Cali order customer, there seems to have been some extra chaos in the last week on weight of vehicle now being over in some orders with 4mo, DSG and lots of extras. That seems to have been caused by an extra 25kg of equipment now being added to deal with the extra emissions standards and required a few people to remove some options to get them back under max weight.
But the good news (allegedly) is that the factory are currently saying that all of the reordering of build weeks should be sorted next week. But that may be a mixed outcome depending upon what you currently have as a provisional build date or not as the case may be!
Is it a lot of extra weight? How much?
