Hi, I’m guessing that you have a longer wait because of being a passenger vehicle as I have heard my order of T32 4motion panel van is going to be 199 ordered beginning of December.

At this moment I don't know to be honest. Dealer was saying April until he said the above to me today. So who knows. I have a VW on Contract hire that is due to end in June, so I am fingers crossed it turns up before then otherwise I am screwed

I’m sure you get it by then. I still have a 2009 swb original sportline which I have owned from new with 90000 on the clock to use and will be sad when I eventually sell it as it is in great condition.At this moment I don't know to be honest. No it’s a lwb shuttle bus se 150 with a few options
Ok that’s probably not affected by the emissions changes as its 150.
I have just orded my new van and dealers were saying 12 - 16 weeks. Hopefully thats true as i have it booked in for a converstion in July.
LWB 150 PS DSG ordered in October and still haven't got a build date. In fact VW can't tell me anything at the minute as they initially said it was sitting as an unconfirmed order, then told order was passed to the factory in Dec and now being told that the status field against my order is blank! VW Customer support have got "VW Brand" support chasing the factory for an update for me but been a week and still no word back. Its driving me crazy!
Can I ask how people are getting build dates, status etc? If the dealer isn’t forth coming with the information ?
Sad times. If you are like me you understand the need to wait. Its the lack of information or avoidance that frustrates me.
I have just had the phone call from my suppliers telling me that I need to start the order process again, but need to pay an extra 12% from the agreed costs on two vehicles. Only last Friday I was told that there are issues and they may need to reorder the vehicles, but the agreed pricing would not change!
I am outraged as I feel; totally strung along by the suppliers. I lost my s**t and they are refunding my deposits and I am now absolutely snookered!

That's awful bud. That isn't the news you were hoping for giving them the benefit of doubt.
I assume that VW, as someone has already mentioned somewhere, are tightening the screw on lease/fleet companies and wanting personal sales to go through dealers.
I hope you get something resolved very soon.
I have just gone with Autoebid. It means starting the wait again but at least the van will definitely arrive this time.

That is very disappointing
It’s is very irritating and I feel that the way that the failed supplier dealt with this was shocking.
I would steer well clear of them for anything in the future and advise anyone else the same.
In the last three weeks I was told that there were issues, and I explained that I could deal with the delay so long as they could definitely come up with the ordered vehicles. I have repeatedly been told by them that they would be able to supply the vehicles at the agreed costs and to that end I have been immensely patient only to find out that they want and extra chunk of dosh in order to restart the entire ordering process!
I regret that I swore so badly at them on the phone today but they said something about “blaming vag”........ you can imagine my response to this! (“The only vag to blame around here is you bunch of....!”)
