T32 Panel will be class 7, but it’s really no big deal.
Kombi , the mot like you said it no bother. It was really only down to the wheels and tyresPanel or Kombi? If Kombi you should go through as class 4. My T32 had its first mot about a month ago, the garage were a little stumped at first so made a call to whoever at DVSA and it was completed as class 4.
Ok thanks. I have purchased the wheels and are suitable for T32Kombi , the mot like you said it no bother. It was really only down to the wheels and tyres
I want a pair of those leaky window man dungarees!Rare video footage of leaky window man, distinguishable by the silly hat he wears. Its perforated so he can feel the drips of success on his swede!
That almost exactly how I expected him to look!!Rare video footage of leaky window man, distinguishable by the silly hat he wears. Its perforated so he can feel the drips of success on his swede!

It did explain why production is low. In all that that film not one person was actually working on a van!
Same vehicle ordered August 18th, still nothing, albeit LWB, 4m, DSG.My van has finally been built. Ordered 199 T32 combi with all the options mid September. Was told a week or so ago that it was provisional build week mid April. Got a call today today to say its been built and its a 204.
It's so frustrating not knowing why you've been singled out. Hang in there! It'll turn up soon!Same vehicle ordered August 18th, still nothing, albeit LWB, 4m, DSG.
Congratulations! Not long and it'll be built!Build date confirmed week 13!! Ordered last week Sept 2020,
Nice one. When did you order?View attachment 108623
Picked up the van on Monday. It has come with the 199 engine. There were at least another 10 vans there awaiting collection so hopefully vw are getting on top of the orders now.
Ordered early October as was quoted March delivery.Nice one. When did you order?
Do you know where your van is this week @Ozi ?Those quotes of 14-16 weeks just seem like the standard flannel at point of order. That’s was I was told on order number 1 in Sept (and also in black and white on order form). 20 weeks later I didn’t even have a provisional build date and then of course it got cancelled in week 21.
When I was ringing around for order number 2, guess what I was told ......14-16 weeks, which I queried based on experience and feedback here. They didn’t budge, 14-16 weeks they insisted. So glad I hijacked an existing stock order, otherwise I’d still be waiting for a provisional date again, and probably being updated that it might be September.
But I wish you luck @Wilo
Thanks @Ozi that gives me some explanation for mine being there for 2 weeks.Good question @Randolph. When I spoke to the dealer last week, he was expecting it to land in Sheerness over the weekend. As of this morning VW chat still thinks it’s in Emden, and allegedly say it is now assigned to a ship, but not yet on it. Couldn’t tell me which ship or when though - only the factory know that apparently as they arrange it.
Been sat there for 14 days if that’s correct, which they say is due to bad weather having delayed transport by sea. First time that’s been mentioned, and the run from Emden to Sheerness has been constant for the last two weeks, as have other shipping routes out of Emden. So that’s either a historic issue which has caused a backlog, which I guess is possible over the winter, or it’s just another VW random excuse.
Waiting to see what the dealer comes back with. Based of history, it’s quite possible it’s actually now sitting at Sheerness and VW chat are behind the curve again. I console myself with the fact that it is actually built!
