The news is you probably won‘t see it before October, and possibly not this year, or it may be built next week. Who knows, it’s beyond a joke now.

Hi it’s journey sounds similar to Ozi’s..,
Reports from the dealer are...
“in transit from the factory” on 1st March,
9th it was at the port and “released for shipping”,
on 16th it was “still awaiting shipment”
One day...
Over 6 months now since order, no news, no confirmation of factory acceptance, no build week, last spoke to dealer in November, Autoebid check in monthly but can’t tell me much either

At the very least it should have been accepted by the factory after all this time. If not, I’d be asking why, and what the dealer is doing about it? Even if they had limited allocation, the amount of time thats passed without factory acceptance is ridiculous

To be fair. I order mine feb 5th and I did ask what was the dealers allocation was. He was going into April’s allocations and is confident for a July build. He rang me up the other day and I asked why the hold ups etc. He said people ordering now will be going into November allocations.
Check with VW live chat with your order number to check progress. I ordered one kombi in Nov. Was only accepted by factory in March (furious), August allocation (gutted), October delivery a year later.
