T6.1 new order delays

I only have the dealers order number so not a lot to go on at the moment thanks but I am going to push hard next week when it hits 28 weeks on my estimated 14-16 week build. I know there have been lots of issues with 204ps change and we are in a pandemic but I am getting a bit tired of it now tbh.
 
If you’ve got the dealers order number, VW chat should be able to locate the order for you. They’re open at weekends too til about 10pm
 
Should be on your order form. Might also be called a “FON” and “SLI” number on your order form. Mine has it against “FON”

I gave them the internal van centre number by mistake the first time I spoke to VW chat, and they still found it and told me which number I needed to quote next time.
 
Well VW Chat found my order number from name and address as there was absolutely nothing on the order form. So at least I now have that, thanks Ozi for the heads up. Unfortunately they confirmed that although 28 weeks since order, still no build date. But the person I spoke to is going to do more digging when the Order Specialist team is back in next week. So maybe I will hear something or at least some idea of if I will actually get it this year.

Check your status on VW live chat. Ask them which of the following is your status. You are accepted by factory, do you have allocation and which month, provisional build week or confirmed build week.
 
I gave him my name address and the listers van centre order number but he couldn’t find anything
he said I need the 8 digit number beginning with the number 3 .?
 
Sadly @lenlec its probably just a case of how hard they wanted to look for you.

They should definitely be able to find it with name, address and van centre number, as both I and @jamesabell1978 have found. I do find that some at VW chat are a lot more helpful than others. Could be inexperience and not knowing where to look, or could simply be that they can’t be bothered. But it is possible if they make the effort.

In fact their customer relations system even knows when you’ve contacted them before, as I found one day. I had only given them my first name and email when I logged in and they came straight back with the order number before I had time to enter it!
 
Just tried them again and last called Beth said she can’t find it with out the Vw order number. She went off and tried manually she sez. God knows.
 
I was in the same boat as Ozi, my order from a 3rd party was cancelled at the beginning of feb so reordered direct on the 5th Feb. I think I’ve hijacked my original order. It’s a lwb kombi
