Had the same, ordered my T6.1 in January, delivery mid April, had email last week saying delays due to covid 19, maybe September, when i spoke to dealership they said realistically December or Janurary, credit to them i feel they were upfront and fair with what they said, I've cancelled my order and got a refund on my deposit, I need a van for April, managed to pick up ex demo, colour i wanted and slightly better spec so makes up for not being brand new, thing is its only going to get worse, dealerships need to stop sand bagging customers with fairy-tale excuses on delivery dates, they have no idea when stock will be produced and manufactured it changes by the day, pre -covid I worked and have friends in Germany, they are miles behind us with vaccine programmes and about to be hit with 3rd wave, the car industry and manufacturing in Germany is going to take months even years to recover from this, the infection rate in industrial areas of Germany is frightening, the inferstructer behind the big factorys is also shot to bits, dealerships need to be upfront and realistic with customers, any metal coming off the production lines will be a spit in the ocean compared to the demand irrespective of brand, personally I see a shortage of new vehicles being beneficial to the 2nd hand market with values and demand rising,
