Wishing you all the best with your vans. Seeing your delight rekindles my frustration that my first signed contract was in early October and I don’t have a confirmed build date and I have signed three contracts paid three deposits (total £2,500) since October. #TheNationalVWVanDealerLottery

I was lucky but had to shell out a bit more for the one I'm ending up with, I jumped at the chance as there was no sign of my original, knowing my luck it will be on the forecourt Tuesday !
Just been online tonight and finally got some info on a kombi ordered early January, unconfirmed build week of week 28 week, commencing July 12th 2021 - received an email from VW garage yesterday saying confirmed build week of 16 which is next week so should arrive approx. mid May. Who is to be believed if at all 
In my experience Tommy, the dealer info was accurate and vw online were always behind the curve.
On the day mine rolled off the factory production line, VW chat were still saying they couldn’t confirm the unconfirmed build date which was due the following week. Imagine my surprise when the following day the dealer emailed to tell me it was built and in its way to Emden.
So I’d say the dealer is probably to be believed, especially if they are stating confirmed build week next week.

You didn't mention if it has the leaky window option!I'd like to report to my friends on here that I have had a surreal day. After having written another strongly worded e mail yesterday about my van going back a further 4 weeks; I got a phone call from my dealership this morning with an update.
On the day I ordered my van, they also ordered a stock van with a simillar spec, i.e. colour engine, box, lwb etc but with a few woolly bits like mud flaps, lane assist, rear heating and traffic signal recognition. etc. It also has both electric sliding doors where I only ordered N/S power latching.
Strangely as like many others' recent events, to their suprise; that van rocked up this morning . This was to be a stock / demonstrator, however it is now going to be mine! This van hasn't got a tow bar but we have arranged for one to be retro fitted already, and it doesn't have the rear 1/4 glass so I will fit those. They are also taking my RR off me to save me the hassle of re insuring it, due on Tues. OK the RR has taken a trade hit but finally I can report that next week I should officially be back in the Transporter club. Sods law says my original order turns up in a couple of weeks but for the extra its costing I don't care, I can move on and look forward to my new project

Was emailed today by a 3rd party saying they had just got loads of vans...fuming!
Typical. Which 3rd party if you don't mind me asking?

Been getting emails from Discounted New Vans recently as well saying they’ve got stock VW’s. But they all seem to be twin sliders, so limited choice but if you happen to want a PV with twin sliders, worth a call.
They were all Highline 150’s. Some manual and some DSG, T30 and T32. Not sure on colours, but might work for someone.

Just seen my dealer and he said my order that I put in in December will have build in June and delivery to me in Australia September. Not the dealers fault and It will give me time to save more, that's if I don't stop buying bits for it to fit for when I get it.
He also told me that they cannot order any 4 Motions until notified by VW and I was lucky that my order for a 4 motion is in the system.
I will just have to wait and see on this forum what other parts I can spend my money on.
