Ok, good news is the lights work. Just need to resolve the dash warning.@mmi I’ve just changed this byte as suggested and all lights work perfectly. On a drive, they all behave as they should. I still have the ‘bulb error’ warning lamp on the dash with DTC’s showing ‘open or short to plus’ errors for both low beams.
2) if not perfect could try changing also byte 29 from "00" to "60"
Apologies for wrong information. Just realised the slight difference between EU5 and EU6 engines and codings re MFSW/CC2) Changing byte 29 from '00' to '60' has now left me with an exclamation mark in place of the odometer reading and a BCM error - i'm going to change the coding back and see if that solves it.
***** Could you please try again by changing byte 29 from "00" to "20"
Just to clarify? Do you mean there are no faults in 09-Central electrics, or in 55-Headlight Range??don’t know what the bulb error lamp is on for.
Or there are the???
which are actually the cause for the dash warning light, no???‘open or short to plus’ errors for both low beams.
There are a couple of undocumented/strange differences in your coding, e.g:
- Byte 2 bit 7 =1, which normally is 0
- Byte 12 bit 1=1 - "Daytime Running Light (DRL) adjustable (Manually AND/OR Instrument Cluster)" which AFAIK does not work on T6, normally is 0
