See you all soon! Will travel up on Friday, should take about 4 hours... Can anyone comment on the auto-route google gave me... any local knowledge about what might be a bad/good/better route.. cheers!

Oh, and if it matters, I don't think I will bother bringing tent/awning/gazeebo.. just the van, and a couple of chairs!

@Dellmassive Aye, looks scorchio indeed! I've been weather watching... that's true regarding the shade, I didn't really think about it as i don't need shade but the misuses might, might need a re-think on what we bring based on that.

Wondering about bringing an inflatable kayak. Anyone know how big the lake is on the site? Or anywhere close by that's suitable to use it for a couple of hours? Ta

Its a fishing lake.... i dont think you can use it for swimmig or inflatables etc....

How level is the site, do I need to bring ramps?
I don’t mind being a bit lobsided but not so much I fall out of bed.

It slopes a little…better to be safe than sorry…..but depends on how level headed you are

@Jlo Just my personal opinion, but I hate driving around Birmingham…. whenever we go to Cornwall we take the A46 down to the Ashchurch junction on the M5. So heading north on the M5 you want junction 9, then follow the A46 to Coventry and on to Sibbertoft from there. Like I say, just my opinion, but it’s a more scenic route through Shakespeare country! Whichever way you decide, see you next weekend for a beer or two!

Right people the time is almost upon us. .

The E-tickets are being sent out . . .

The Beer is chilling in the Fridge . . . .

And @Tourershine has been dealing with the site to get us a preferential booking rate.

The Rates are confirmed as :

£20 per unit per night - All inclusive.

example:

1 night - £20
2 night - £40
3 night - £60
4 night - £80

That means one fixed price per van per night, this will make checking in much easier and much quicker.

ALL extras are included in the fixed price. we pay no more for:

Pets
Pup tents,
Gazeebo,
caravan awning,
additional car or van,
etc etc etc.

Day visitors may still be charged a minimal rate at the sites discretion.

To Check in:

arrive at site . .

Brook Meadow Farm,
Welford Road,
Sibbertoft,
Market Harborough,
Leicestershire.

Drive down to the mini roundabout and stop at reception.

go into reception, tell them you are here for the "T6F Summer Camp Weekender" and pay for the number of nights you wish to stay for.

you can check in at any point from Monday 12th onwards.

they will give you a copy of the site MAP and the CODE for the access gate.

follow the map via the barrier to the main field where @Tourershine will hopefully Meet&Greet you and get you parrked up.

Please follow all of the site rules/requests and respect the surrounding and the people around you.

Pretty sure you can't take a Kayak on their lake. Strictly fishing. But as Van cave said the canal is not far away and you can go on that.
