Turn off Stop / Start

Has anybody else worked out if you don't press the brake hard when you stop the engine doesn't cut out?

I do this but its a bit variable, sometimes it cuts out before I have actually stopped rolling.

I'm not keen on it when in slow moving traffic, and sometimes it doesn't work.
Hopfully someone will learn how to switch it off

At least I'm not the only one that didn't know then , yes m8 it's in top left of dash buttons it's got A off on it
I haven't actually got the 'bus' yet but do know how annoying this 'feature' is. What with the candle light headlight saga with the H4's I did wonder about the option to turn off the start/stop feature.

Come on mr. @andythom188 your letting the side down mate
You carnt know everything pal and to be honest had the van 7 months only clocked 3000 miles so havnt spent alot of time in it.
I dont get alot of spare time to sit in the van on the drive and find out what everything does due to 3 young kids one has autism which takes up most of our time trying to keep him happy and give the mrs a break.and me sometimes working 7days a week
I still havnt had chance to play with app connect yet

Try owning a Ford Ranger Wildtrak and trying to locate the right fuse based on the manual... impossible. Well, it would be when they didn't supply the right manual with the car..

Either way, most us blokes just keep pressing till something solves the issue, right?

Right folks,
As I am a Carpenter I therefore know nothing about electronics but, If all we do is press the button to switch the stop/start off then if we knew if the switch was press to break the circuit or press to make the circuit then can we not just by-pass the switch and either join the wires or cut the wires.?
If you don't ask you will never learn

You have to press the button every time you start the engine. Or in my case just leave the heater fan on 1
