I am not 100% sure but it could be related to camshaft position sensor.

Thank you. That was the general impression I got from a quick search, but now the practical question! Is this a a) stop driving immediately fault, b) sort it where possible in France, or c) it can wait until I get home?

Could you call VW assist when you get to your location? are you still under warranty? (vehicle details would help)

Sorry. Thanks. I am not under warranty 2016 shuttle SE. I suppose this is what I pay European breakdown for.

I would want a VW tech to check it personally, its an odd one and not what one we've seen before, especially if it is the cam position sensor.

Without fault reoccurence at least the following faults are cleared from the log no later than in 2000 km.

Faults were recorded at 60514 km. The faults were on the log still at 61610 km, but then had completely disappeared at 62520 km. They were not available even with VCDS aggressive mode.

Note: the fault log "expiration" seems be different on different modules. Also the effect of VCDS aggressive mode varies.

ACC Fault possibly induced by oversized tyres

T6

Tyre size 275/45/20 (speedo -8.7% vs. factory tyre (assumed 215/60/17))

T6.1

Tyre size 265/40/20 (speedo -4.2% vs. factory tyre (assumed 215/60/17))
Tyre size 245/65/17 (speedo -8.6% vs. factory tyre (assumed 215/65/16))
Now, I’ve had the van up the M way 70 miles both ways. If I keep the van at 113kmph indicated ( 120kmph actual) or below the ACC works faultlessly. As soon as I put it up to 120kmph indicated or over it cuts the ACC off with “sensor impaired” message after 5 or so mins and keeps it knocked off for 5 to 10 mins when it seems to become available again.

I’ve got the same code, I think it’s for the alarm interior movement sensor by the tailgate. I’ve got a replacement part arriving next week, I’ll let you know if it clears the fault.
@Broadside Did you fix this fault code? I have same on van i'm about to buy.
Thanks

No I haven’t fixed it. I got a replacement part from a breakers yard on eBay but that item was faulty too. To buy the part new is about £180 so I have left it.

We often have a dog in the boot so it’s actually quite handy not having the interior sensors not working when parked at petrol station forecourts and popping in to shops for 5-10 mins. I know there is the button to disable the sensors on the drivers door pillar but I’m not bothered about the interior sensors really.

I've got these faults come up on carista. They have just appeared after its first service at preston commercials.
First question is what are they, are the significant?.
Second, can i contact the garage and tell them I've got these faults and that i got them off my carista?.
They clear but come back.Screenshot_20201112-151141.jpg

Perhaps just a connector left unconnected - too many sensors (5) to be off-line at once, I think.
00527 should state "Intake manifold temperature sensor".

Is it a case of trying to find the connector and will it be obvious?

Im clueless when it comes to electrics. Where should i start looking?.

I have to take that back - there are no "intermediate" connectors . The sensors are wired directly to ECU but obviosly sharing common earth and wiring loom at some point.

@fezza68 I'm curious as to whether you managed to find what the issue was with the above faults? I have the same apart from cam shaft position sensor.

Would that be fairly easy to trace? Like fez I wouldnt know where to start but if pointed in the right direction would have a go, obviously if all accessible.
