VW All-in plan

Hmm, that press release is poorly worded when you re-read it, it is not entirely clear whether All-In is included in the Winter Sale.

I just went to the website…

I will wait a day or so to see if it changes but looks like the VW Winter sale excludes All-In which is bollocks.

In fact, I just read it again and it says Audi owners get 25% off service plans including All-In and this is confirmed by their website.

Mines a T30 full camper conversion. I’ve just had it back from VW Vancentre Manchester after having an Adblue issue resolved. They did the eligibility check whilst it was in and I’ve signed up for the £34.97 deal.

I've just purchased the all in plan online, no eligibility check required!
I had hoped that the all in plan would be included in the winter offer as I've held off purchasing the plan until now, so it's a bit of shame that the plan has been excluded from the sale although I do still think at its current price it represents good value for money based on the inclusion of the two years warranty and AA cover.
At least I'm now covered I guess as I only have nine months before my van falls outside their criteria.

Yes, not sure why excluded although they did discount it back in the spring from memory.

My approved used warranty runs out at beginning of December so will be taking out All in then - agree about value as it is effectively the warranty that they are throwing in for free based on the usual price of the service plans - just not quite as good value while the winter sale is on for the service plans

No idea what the issue(s) is and have had no luck emailing/calling them to find out why but I have tried twice in the last week to purchase the All-in plan online and both times it goes through, I get an agreement number and both times an email comes through a few minutes later saying it has been cancelled

Go to your nearest dealer and sit in front of their desk until they explain?

Hopefully got to the bottom of the issues with the All-In plan being cancelled twice

Spoke to two helpful ladies at VW Wolsey Van centre in Ipswich (where I bought the van) and discovered that the reason it was cancelled was because the van still had the remainder of the breakdown cover that is provided when you buy an approved used van.

My van was 3 yrs and a week old when I bought it so didn’t qualify for the 1year warranty/breakdown - vans over 3 years old get 6 months warranty and 6 months breakdown.

I bought the van on 14 June so technically still has 8 days warranty and 8 days breakdown cover and the All-in plan small print says to be eligible the van can’t have a current warranty or service plan

I have to try again on the 15th December so will report back then.

It's ridiculous that you can't set them up in advance, especially now they have removed the van inspections.

Yup! I had the same issue. Our original warranty ran out whilst we were in Portugal, I wanted to setup the All In plan before we went, so it started when the original ran out, so there was no break in cover. Nope, nada, niet!! I tried everything, dealer, VWCS, VWFS. They all blamed each other, but “computer says no” sh1te!!

3rd time lucky? My approved used warranty and breakdown cover ran out yesterday…

Edit: hoorah, it has worked this time

The extended warranty offered to me in Nov was £455 for 12 months so this deal looks infinitely better. I did not extend but I am seriously considering this. I might book in for the inspection and see what they say as I would also like to seek clarification over their position on the non OEM suspension and wheels in regards to the warranty. I would also like to know their position on the timing belt and water pump as I don’t plan on having it done by VW when my van is 4 years old later this year.
hello - did you find an answer to the timing belt/water pump question please? (ie: did it impact the VW warranty if done by an indy garage)

I had the belt and pump done by Bognor Motors before I took out the All In Plan. VW accepted that without issue. Likewise with the service undertaken by a local independent during Covid.

My service plan update…..On the last service it was picked up the Aircon was only blowing hot….then 3 days later service plan expired…but good old Liverpool van centre…let me renew for yr 6/7..and arranged the warranty replacement of the Aircon module..
Happy not to have paid for that…not so happy the loan of a brand new 6.1 panel van…sorry guys it’s got so many bits missing from the T6 :)

I’ve got something odd going on with my van battery. It’s not putting out enough voltage, only 11.9- either it’s not holding it or the smart charging system is not allowing it to get up to speed.

Either way, my Votronic multi charger doesn’t like it and every now and again it trips the camper side stuff.

So it’s booked in with the VW dealer to be diagnosed- and (says this very quietly !) it might just be covered by the All In extended warranty.
